The San Marzano Tomato D.O.P is a variety of plum tomato that is only grown in the Agro Sarnese - Nocerino area, near Mount Vesuvius. San Marzano tomato is unmistakable because of its intense sweet flavour, long oval shape, firm pulp and low seed count. Perfect for pizza sauce, pasta sauces and soups.
